When you get injured, whether it happened at home, work, at a store or even in an auto accident, there are many questions about what happens next. Although we can't help you with everything our team will do everything we can to help you all along the way.
Q: How do I send my bills to the Work Comp insurance adjuster?

A: This is something that we do you for you. We'll submit the authorization for treatment and take care of all of the paperwork for you. The Work Comp insurance company will work directly with us so you can just focus on your health and not worry about paperwork.

Q: I think therapy will help me but I can't get into a Doctor. How can I get started with treatment?

A: We can assist you with getting an appointment with an Orthopedic Surgeon, Neurologist, Pain Management Doctor, and several other Specialists. We also have Physician Assistants in our office, which is a very convenient way to get your injury evaluated.

Q: I injured my neck and shoulder but my Doctor is only helping with my shoulder, how do I get help for my neck?

A: All of our Therapists have a Doctorate Degree and are well- trained in assessing all types of Orthopedic conditions. They'll begin with a complete assessment of your symptoms, they'll complete a full evaluation by using various Orthopedic and Neurological tests to better determine the source of your pain. From there they will create a custom treatment plan that may involve Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, Acupuncture and working together with an Orthopedic Doctor or another Specialist based on your individual needs.

Q: I'm afraid exercise or activity could make my pain worse, how can I know that it won't?

A: In addition to physical assessment, we have other tools that we can use to help determine the source of your pain and we can order diagnostic tests such as: x-ray, CT-Scan, MRI and many others. Your safety is top priority with any Physical Therapist, Chiropractor or other type of Rehab Specialist. The only goal is to make you better.

Q: The last Therapy location I went to told me that my treatment wasn't "approved" by Workers' Comp, how do I know if it will be "approved" at this location?

A: We have an Authorization Department that will contact the insurance company to figure out why your treatment isn't authorized or approved. They'll get to the source of the issue which may be something very simple such as they're waiting on paperwork from your Employer or they're waiting on surveillance video from your Employer and they just don't want to approve anything until all of the information is complete on their end. In Illinois, prior authorization isn't required for treatment and that allows for treatment to get started in most cases even if the insurance company is delayed in gathering all of the information.
